Tic is a symptom that moves muscles quickly and repetitively apart from one’s intention and makes sound. When neglected, it can worsen from chronic tic to Tourette Syndrome. It is accompanied by attention deficit, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and obsession, among others. It can lead to peer relationship recession and low self-esteem, lowering social adaptability and quality of life. For patients with psychological and physical difficulties, we use the virtual reality (VR)-based neuro-biofeedback system for treatment and rehabilitation.
